Interserver $3 Monthly Storage VPS Coupon — Best bang for the buck you would ever see.

Interserver is an ancient cloud service provider which is established back in 1999! So the reliability is ensured.

Their Storage VPS is famously known as the best in the LowEndTalk forum. Yesterday (Aug. 3, 2022) was a guy in the LET forum’s birthday. The Interserver guy has posted a coupon code to celebrate his birthday—code happybirthdaylala. It is a 50% off recurring discount, which is very sweet.

I’ve bought one Storage VPS. The lowest spec one. It costs 6$ per month before the discount and I paid 3$ for that.

For 3 bucks, you get 1 vCore CPU, 2 GB RAM (Unsure whether it’s DDR3 or DDR4, most likely DDR4), 2 TB 10Gbps connection, 1 TB “HDD” (more on that later).

Let’s check it out, shall we?

They say that it is “HDD”, but actually… HOLY $H!T…

Check out the bench.sh

Overall it’s excellent. And I’ve never seen any HDDs that can run multi GB/s, so I would assume that this is some SATA SSDs or Many Many Many HDDs in a single RAID.

First post on my computer. Seems nicer. Anyways, who has seen 500 MB/s HDD before? And the network speed is just UNBELIEVABLE… I didn’t see any sort of bandwidth cap here, so… Best choice I think 🙂

I will post the yabs.sh today as well.

Don’t know what CPU are they using but hey it’s good IMO. Basically the same score as Xeon E5-2690 v4.

Bottomline then is it worth it? Heck yeah. Everybody should get one.
